About the event
The Blessing will take place promptly at 10:00 AM. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early if you would like your pet or a photograph to be included.
All well-behaved pets are welcome! If your pet is unable to attend—or if you would like to remember a beloved pet who has passed away—you are warmly invited to bring a photograph to be blessed.
We will also be collecting donations for the Protectors of Animals Cat & Dog Pet Food Pantry. Donations of unopened cat and dog food are greatly appreciated.
Representatives from Protectors of Animals will be on hand from 10:00am-12:00pm with an information booth, and you'll also have the opportunity to meet Beacon, the East Hartford Police Department Community Engagement Dog!
Whether you bring a pet, a photograph, or simply come to celebrate the animals who enrich our lives, all are welcome!
